Doris Sheets first came across the Christian
Farmers Outreach Booth at the WV State Fair.
She was so impressed with the ministry; she
began to investigate setting up a similar booth
at the Buckwheat Festival near her home.
She
called CFO about the specialized tracts and
found out, to her delight, that we already
planned to have a CFO Booth at the Buckwheat
Festival. “Praise the Lord, that is wonderful,” she
exclaimed.
Doris
and her daughter came out to the Buckwheat
Fair to help with the CFO Booth. Doris’ daughter,
Stephanie, determined to come out but feared
that in no way could she talk to anyone about
Jesus and their eternal destiny. Stephanie
listened and watched. Finally, through her
fear, she dared to present the gospel. Stephanie
became overwhelmed with joy. She had the
opportunity to lead several to the Lord and
her entire
soul was lit on fire. She was a changed person.
When it was time to leave, this first fearful
girl did not want to go because of the new
joy which lived inside of her.
Doris’ joy did not stop with her daughter.
Doris’ baby brother came into the booth.
She explained the beads and asked if he was
sure about heaven. He said, “No.” With
tears in her voice Doris explained that, right
there in the booth, her baby brother gave his
heart to the Lord.
“I am so blessed and that was just the
icing on the cake. I’ve prayed for my
brother for a long time but I’ve never
had the courage to talk to him. These beads
don’t have magic in them but there is
something about this ministry.” Doris
explained.
Doris
sends the following message to our readers. “I’ve
never had such an experience. This is the best
experience that I have ever had. Every Christian
should have this experience. It doesn’t
matter if you are shy or not an eloquent speaker.
I thank Christian Farmers Outreach for opening
my eyes to witnessing.”
