The
CFO again has responded to a missions trip
to the Dominican Republic on 16 Jan 2006
where badly needed medical supplies are being
delivered. The missions group wanted not only
to provide medical supplies but wanted a way
to share the gospel to. When one of the people
form the missions group heard how the CFO spread
the gospel of Jesus Christ through the bead
ministry the CFO was asked if they could help
out. The CFO responded by providing 1,000 rawhides
and beads and 800 Spanish tracts and 200 English
speaking tracts.
Foreign Ministry
The Lord has lead us into a new area of ministry which is sharing the love and
forgiveness of Jesus with the Chinese, Polish and Spanish speaking people. We have been helping
to train and equip people for short term mission trips for several years.
Sharing
the Gospel by the method of the colored beads
is very effective and breaks through the
language barrier, but we could not find a
tract to
go with the beads, so we had our English
tract translated into Spanish. We like everyone
that receives a bracelet
to take the message with them. If they
are a Christian it will equip them to share
with
others. If they do not accept Christ they
will have the Bible verses with them. Also
if they made a decision for Christ they can
sign their name for a record of this and
have the verses with them.
The
result has been awesome. Since June 2004
we have had
over 20,000 new decisions. Pastor Kelly took
35 teenagers, the bracelets and the new tract
to El Salvador resulting in sharing with
15,000
people and 4094 decisions for Christ.
In
Trinidad there were over 500 decisions.
With two trips
to Mexico there were 650 decisions in one
and 450 in the other.
In
the United States we have equipped many to
share with the
Spanish tract to the Spanish speaking people.
If
we can train and equip you, please
contact
us.
Beyond
Our Borders
CFO
had the privilege of assisting in 40 different
short-term mission trips to foreign countries.
Sharing the message through the bead ministry
is found to be very effective in other countries
too.
We hear many testimonies of how the Lord has
used this method of sharing. In some countries,
the rawhide are tied on their wrist as bracelets
or some use them as necklaces or ankle bracelets
as a witness for Jesus Christ.
Many
times, they have taken the CFO insert of
the message and translated it into their
local language and distribute it with a rawhide
so they can witness to others.

From
Farming to Foreign Missions
Growing up in a family that operated one of
the largest and most successful farming enterprises
in Maryland focused my sights on spending my
life doing that very same thing. I loved to
spend time with my father riding on the 5020
John Deere tractor.
I was also raised in a Godly home. And through
the years I learned the most tremendous news
of all, that God sent his only Son, Jesus Christ,
to shed His blood on the cross at Calvary for
my sins. I placed my faith in Jesus Christ
as my only hope for heaven that day and my
life was changed forever!
In 1998, our family moved from Westminster
to Chattanooga Tennessee to prepare for a life
of ministry. While there God opened the door
to the area of world missions. Our goal is
to go where God directs us and to use improved
methods in farming to gain a hearing for the
Gospel Witness. Lord willing we anticipate
going to Gambia, Africa in May 2004 for 2 years
and then to Liberia for an undetermined amount
of time.
Members of CFO are excited to help support
the Keith Lippy family via Directed Giving
as they minister as missionaries. Keith is
a long time member of the CFO and has worked
the Bead Ministry at many shows and fairs.
We all need to keep Keith and his family in
our prayers as they do the Lords will.
