FEED
THE
HUNGRY
Through the Lords help the CFO
has helped to feed the hungry during the 2006
fall and winter
by helping to supply enough deer meat for 50,000 meals to the "Helping Up Mission", "Teen
Challenge Mission", "Westminster
Rescue Mission", "Baltimore Rescue Mission", "Westside Mission", and has coordinated their effort along with "Farmers & Hunters
Feed the Hungry"
Deer
Meat update:
The five missions we supply with deer meat are very excited that we are starting
delivery September 29, 2004.
One
of the missions, West Side Mission, is in
one of the poorest areas in Baltimore,
informed us they had cut way back in feeding the homeless because they
had no meat.
The "Farmers
and Hunters Feed the Hungry" program
that we have been working with to supply
deer meat
to will probably run out of funds
about Thanksgiving
and the Christian Farmers Outreach hopes to help pick up the program
by funding the deer meat program in the
near future and needs your financial
support.
These missions fill up with more homeless
in cold weather, so we will need more
funds to
carry this program through the Winter
months.
